Lincoln Park is also home to a retail district known as Clybourn Corridor. This popular shopping district stretches into the Near North Side of Chicago. The Chicago neighborhood was named for Lincoln Park, a 1,208-acre stretch of green space along Lake Michigan that was named after President Abraham Lincoln. The eponymous public park is Chicago’s largest. Other attractions in the area include the Chicago History Museum, Lincoln Park Conservatory, a rowing canal, an outdoor theatre, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and free-admission Lincoln Park Zoo. Public transportation provided by the CTA, for instance, is excellent, with Lincoln Park being connected to areas beyond its borders by mass transit options. Lincoln Park real estate for sale often includes trademark brick row houses situated near tranquil parks. Many tree-lined residential areas are neighbors to vibrant business corridors.
